For as long as I can remember I have had a creative outlet in my life.  Pottery, twig furniture, jewelery, macramé, knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilting, painting and many more.. Most have come and gone but my painting has endured for over 30 years. When I am not painting I am thinking about it, meeting with other artists, observing works of art, perusing art books, studying the landscape and planning my next project.

I love it when a plan comes together. Having a vision then taking up the brushes and realizing 'this is going to work'. that's a wonderful experience but even better is to take the brush and apply paint randomly letting the subconscious lead the way and see what emerges. Now when this comes together it is ecstasy.
