Marie Moore

Multi-media artist Marie Moore brings you into a colourful world of magical realism. Inspired by the mystical sides of nature and science, she likes to paint narratives of connection and symbiotic relationships. Marie resonates with themes of transformation, light, and the uncovering of life’s real ‘magic’. She is drawn to many subjects, but especially loves to highlight her deep connections with animals and the outdoors. By playing with contrasting colour and size to bring a dynamic balance, she invites the viewer to investigate their initial perceptions or interpretations. Marie works in a variety of styles and media, being proficient in oil, acrylic, watercolour, and pencil. In addition to traditional art mediums, she is experienced in creating digital art and has begun to experiment with combining the two. By bringing the digital into the physical world and integrating with paint, new textures and depths are brought to the artworks.
