Artist Bio
“Small moments” in life intrigue me. You can be on a walk and see the most beautiful shadows on the path or see an animal that makes you smile. It’s exciting to bring something to life.
I took many watercolour courses but am basically self taught with oils and acrylics although I have taken workshops with John Stuart Pryce and others. I often struggle to work my way through a painting to convey the feeling that inspired me to paint a particular subject.
I’ve been in many group shows with the PPAA and Artists of Uxbridge. There have been shows at the Kent Farndale Gallery and the McLean Centre in Ajax, Art on the Fringe, and Art in the Park.
Painting is where you can totally be in the moment. It seems as if half an hour has gone by and it’s really been 3 or 4 hours! So glad to still be able to keep trying.
